The Contact Centre is recruiting an additional Generic Revenues and Benefits Officer to assist in the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and Council Tax.
The job involves working on a rota-basis in either the back office, or in the Contact Centre, handling new claims for Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, changes to the Council Tax register, and general enquiries regarding all of the other Council Services.
The successful applicant will need to display good communication skills and show that they are able to work well as part of a team. Some experience and knowledge of Housing Benefits and/or Council Tax administration would also be advantageous.
